Under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Alia, daughter of Tawfiq Al-Tabbaa, Zaha Cultural Center signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with Roya Media Group (RMG) to develop frameworks for joint cooperation and coordinate efforts in the field of media, enhancing the impact of programs and services provided to the local community.
The memorandum was signed by the founder and CEO of Roya Media Group, Fares Michel Al-Sayegh, and the executive director of the Zaha Cultural Center, Rania Sobeih.
According to the memorandum, cooperation will take place in the areas of media coverage of events and mutual benefit through the services and facilities provided by the Zaha Center, in addition to building and strengthening cooperation and understanding between the two parties in the media field with the aim of contributing to raising awareness among members of the local community and highlighting the role of the Zaha Cultural Center in raising awareness among individuals and developing the local community.
Roya TV will also be approved as a recycling center within the “Green Wheelz” project, in accordance with what was included in the memorandum.
The signing of the memorandum was preceded by a musical performance by the Zaha Musical Ensemble - Oriental Takht, which was established as the first oriental takht ensemble for children in 2005. It combines the choir and the Musicians Academy, and embodies a model for investing in the creative energies of children and adolescents, reflecting and consolidating musical values and introducing the aesthetics of authentic Jordanian and Arab musical heritage.
