When KCON returns to Los Angeles and the Crypto.com Arena in August, it's like Christmas for K-Pop enthusiasts, as the weekend brings together artists and fans who share a passion for the art, music, and dance.
With its bright technicolor, ardent fandoms, catchy tunes, and slick routines, the worldwide sensation is officially here to stay in the United States. And KCON puts everything together for performances that are not to be missed, all of which feature expertly choreographed routines, of course.
Hundreds of thousands of fans have gathered to KCON since its founding in 2012 to celebrate Korean culture, including food and fashion, as well as K-Pop. Top K-Pop artists such as NCT 127, aespa, Baby Don't Cry, AllDayProject, MONSTA X, Hwasa, P1Harmony, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, Lee Young-ji, Roy Kim, Jackson Wang, MEOVV, and many more will perform at the 2025 KCON, which will take place from August 1–3 and aims to build on the tremendous success of the previous year's event.
Fans will have the chance to take part in panel discussions, K-beauty seminars, and real Korean cultural events in addition to the performance. (In addition, Koreatown, located in L.A., is only a short drive from the arena.) The three days will be hosted by Sung Han Bin, with one day each from Seok Matthew, Ricky, and Zhang Hao as MCs.
Last year's KCON included a varied lineup of K-pop musicians from the first to the fifth generation, as well as a primetime live broadcast on the CW—the first time a K-pop concert was broadcast nationwide. 5.8 million people watched the 2024 edition online, while over 125,000 people attended in person.
Thousands of fans flock to immerse themselves in all things Hallyu, the ultimate celebration of Korean pop culture that began as a fringe event and has since blossomed into a global phenomenon. KCON has evolved into a celebration of Korean culture that combines elements of a music festival, cultural fair, and yelling fans. KCON delivers an amazing weekend of connection, creativity, and dancing, regardless of whether you've been a fan for a long time or are just curious.
